Official Website : John Lurie emerged onto the art scene in the spring of 2004, when he had his first painting exhibition at Anton Kern Gallery. Since then Lurie’s work has been exhibited in esteemed galleries throughout the world.
@allmusic : In the early 2000s Lurie was stricken by debilitating illness that halted most of his endeavors in music, film, and television; he received various diagnoses and concluded that the cause was chronic advanced Lyme disease.
