Stillness In Motion: Vai Live in L.A. was recorded October 2012 at Club Nokia in LA while Steve was on his two year worldwide Story of Light tour. This live 2DVD features new, arresting arrangements of his classic material and fan favorites, including material from his latest album, 2012 s The Story Of Light, plus exciting bonus material from his latest world tour. The DVD also includes over 3 hours of a video diary showing Steve and his band in rehearsals and goes through highlights from some the 253 shows they played around the world.

Disponible en 2CD et en 2DVD, « Stillness In Motion » propose de revivre le 49ème concert de la monumentale tournée de Vai intitulée Story of Light World Tour. Stillness in motion: Vai live in L.A. è la registrazione audio e video (diretta da Jeff Rifkin) di un concerto tenuto nel 2012 dal musicista a Los Angeles, parte del suo “Story of light World tour”: “Dire che questo tour è stata una grande esperienza di vita sarebbe come dire che il sole è caldo”, ha scritto Steve Vai nelle note di copertina, presentando il progetto. Disponibile sul mercato in formato doppio CD e in formato doppio DVD (quest’ultima versione include anche un disco bonus contenente una sorta di video-diario del tour, della durata di tre ore, intitolato “The space between the notes – Tour mischief”).
