Regina Spektor : Regina Ilyinichna Spektor is a Russian American singer-songwriter and pianist. Her music is associated with the anti-folk scene centered in New York City’s East Village.

Larisa Dolina @ Wikipedia : Larisa Aleksandrovna Dolina (born 10 September 1955 in Baku, Azerbaijan SSR, USSR) is an Azerbaijani-born prominent Russian jazz and pop singer and an actress. She was awarded the Order of Honour in 2005.

Elisabeth Kontomanou : Of Greek and African origin, and born in France, Elisabeth Kontomanou has worked with many musicians in both Europe and America, including Sam Newsome, Leon Parker, Michel Legrand, Mike Stern, Alain Jean-Marie. She first gained recognition at the ‘Concours de La Défense’ and has since been nominated for a Django d’Or Award, following her album ‘Embrace’ released on Steeple Chase in 1999.

Buddy Ross : Buddy Ross is a record producer from Seattle. Some of the artists he’s worked with include Motopony, whom he’s also a member of, Drew Grow, Aaron Spiro.

The Five Stairsteps @ Soulwalking : The Stairsteps were discovered and produced by Curtis Mayfield, this young quintet enjoyed a consistent run of R & B chart success, with releases on the Windy C, Curtom and Buddah labels. Their father, Clarence Snr was a detective in the Chicago police department and their mother was Betty Burke.

Roger Eno : Roger Eno was born in Suffolk, England. In 1983, he worked with brother Brian and Daniel Lanois to produce the album Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks. Roger signed to Opal Records and produced two albums, Voices and Between Tides, that reinforced comparisons made with Satie and Debussy.

Big Jay Mcneely : Tenor saxophonist Cecil “Big Jay” McNeely has been “the king of the honkers” for over 60 years, and he’s still going strong. Born in Watts, California, on April 29, 1927, he formed his own band with jazz legends Sonny Criss (alto sax) and Hampton Hawes (piano) while still in high school. But in late 1948, when he was asked to record for Savoy Records, he abandoned jazz for something more raucous and struck paydirt when his second release, a honked-up instrumental called “Deacon’s Hop,” went to 1 on the national R&B charts in February 1949.
