Wikipedia : This day (October 24, 2017), in Harvey, Louisiana, died Antoine Dominique ‘Fats’ Domino, an American R&B and rock and roll pianist and singer-songwriter.
FatsDominoOnline.com : Another song that made the R&B chart for him, Every Night About This Time, used a piano triplet for which Fats was to become famous. It showed how his music had been influenced by that of Little Willie Littlefield. Fats had another R&B hit with Goin’ Home in 1952.
The Fats Domino Pages : In 1955, with the arrival of Rock & Roll, Fats became also popular with the white audience starting with the song ‘Ain’t that a shame’. Lew Chudd, the owner of Imperial Records sold his record company to LIBERTY in 1963.
