1973 is one of Frank Zappa’s busiest years.
Think about it : in one year, he records three albums, releases one and plays seventy-seven concerts throughout the world.
From March till the end of May, he is at Bolic Sound in Inglewood and Whitney Studios in Glendale to complete his seventeenth studio album “Over-Nite Sensation” (to be released in September) and to tape parts of his solo project “Apostrophe.”
The whole month of June and early July, he tours Australia.
From mid-August till mid- September, he plays in Scandinavia then Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and England. He is back in North America from October till the last concerts of the year on December 8,9 and 10 at The Roxy, West Hollywood where the album “Roxy & Elsewhere” is recorded.
