The song is a tribute to Billie Holiday and the lyrics address many Harlem, New York, landmarks and communities.

The lyrics include references to the Mandinka tribe of West Africa and deal with issues of female empowerment and social justice.

Aled Jones – Walking In The Air“Walking in the Air” is a song, composed by Howard Blake, from the 1982 animated feature “The Snowman,” based on Raymond Briggs’s 1978 children’s book of the same title. In 1985, the song was re-recorded with a 14 year old Welsh chorister named for Aled Jones for use in a Toys “R” Us TV advertising campaign. |
