August 31, 2001 – The Monkees – that is Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork & Davy Jones – reunion (without Michael Nesmith) tour stops at Sun Theatre in Anaheim, California. The rumour says that it may be their last concert as a trio before someone gets sacked.

The Gun Club release their debut album : ‘Fire Of Love’ (1981)

Concord publish Ray Charles’ posthumous and final album : ‘Genius Loves Company’ recorded with Norah Jones, James Taylor, Diana Krall and more famous guests (2004)
