2 . Nickelback – Edge Of A Revolution

Nickelback’s lead single “Edge of a Revolution” is inspired by social unrest and protests, notably the Ferguson events following the police killing of unarmed teenager Michael Brown. Directed by Wayne Isham, the music video shows the band performing in a darkened classroom with protest footage projected behind them. By the end, uniformed school children are seen revolting, overturning furniture and chanting “we want change.”
