Bill Evans in Europe – The Sixties

For the first time, in August 1964, Bill Evans goes to Europe.

Taking drummer Larry Bunker and bassist Chuck Israels to Stockholm in Sweden for a session with local singer Monica Zetterlund and a taping at the national television.

For the rest of the sixties, Evans and different trios will come back steadily.

(Spring 1965 : Paris, London – Fall 1965 : Milano, Berlin, Scandinavia and Paris – Fall 1966 Scandinavia – Summer 1968 : Montreux – Summer 1969 : Italy – Fall 1969 : Paris, Copenhagen and Amsterdam)
