As usual, Jarrett has things smartly arranged, and the guitar simply adds to the beauty of the piece, without overpowering it. Being quite eclectic the main problem of this album is its obvious turn to less-improvisational melodies-based more accessible music (which is so characteristic for Jarrett’s “European quartet” with Garbarek he will start just few months later same year) […]
